Overview:
• The OM Analyst is focused on insuring product delivery to the customer occurs in accordance with the needs and requirements of the customer.
• The OM Analyst is responsible for leading issue resolution related to product ordering and product delivery.
The major responsibilities of the OM Analyst are listed below.
• Respond to customers calls & enquires in a timely manner
• Ensure timely order processing with accuracy in SAP*
• Do order quality corrections and root cause
• Ensure order size optimization
• Handle inquiries on price, products and promotions
• Participate in credit control communication
• Deliver booking and follow-up on delivery incidents with Physical Distribution
• Handle returns and refusals
• Do VMI related tasks*
• Issue reports and follow-up on results
• Inform customer/CBD of reported shortages
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Be the expert in the customer(s) order pattern* (applicable for certain teams/markets only)
• Handle customer claims on invoices
• Follow-up aged items in customer accounts
• Do administration of terms and follow-up on compliance (e.g. provide timely update on the status of overdue invoices to facilitate order release process and give management heads-up on any potential risk)
• Generate discount payments/unearned cash discount payback Issue & handle statement of customer accounts
Skills:
• Proficient at MS Office apps esp. Excel
• Good communication skills
• Prior experiences in SAP
• Basic accounting/account receivables knowledge
