Job Summary:

Responsible for selling SOHA merchandise (womenswear tops, trousers, scarf/tudung and accessories) in a retail setting as well as maintaining e-commerce orders from SOHA’s app and website in Singapore.

Primary Responsibilities for the Retail Setting:

  1. Demonstrate products and help consumers as and when requested to select products
  2. Process orders at the retail counter and operate cash registers. Collect methods of payment and dispense change.
  3. Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
  4. Remove security devices, fold clothes, and place neatly in a bag
  5. Count the day's money transactions at the end of the day and send end of day update to the person in charge.
  6. Check inventory to ensure the product is in stock.
  7. Set up display cases and place clothes on mannequins.
  8. Stock shelves and ensure pricing is correct.
  9. Keep the shop clean and presentable, dusting the racks and vacuuming every morning.
  10. Restock clothes that have been tried on and fold neatly.
  11. Process returns and refunds after carefully checking for product tags and ensuring the product is in good condition

Primary Responsibilities for the e-Commerce order management:

  1. Coordinate order processing, delivery and returns of customer orders placed on SOHA’s website and app
  2. Pack parcels based on the order, print courier tag and arrange for pick-up delivery by our designated courier partner
  3. Manage online order returns and refund processing

Retail Sales Associate Qualifications/ Skills:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Product knowledge (understanding of fabric, material, washing and fabric care etc.)
  • Verbal communication
  • Job knowledge, preferably have prior 1-2 years of experience in retail sales
  • Have basic computer skills to manage customer orders and retail counter

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Polytechnic graduates or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of retail experience desired

Working hours:

- Tuesday to Sunday 11 am to 9 pm (Mondays are off)


- Basic ($1,800 monthly) + overtime (50% of the hourly rate for working on Sundays)

- Minimum 1 month of performance bonus upon completing 12 months at the company. This can be increased to 2 months if the person has demonstrated extraordinary performance throughout the year.

- One year contract, minimum 2 months of leave notice.
