In this role you will need:
✅ Knowledge and understanding of basic Power Electrical system.
✅ Knowledge IOT wireless devices communication and operation and cloud computing
would be an advantage
✅ Knowledge of cloud access platform for IOT devices
✅ Contributes as a team member on development projects carrying out assigned
responsibilities in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner.
✅ Supports the organization’s intellectual property strategy by documenting data and
independent, unique and patentable ideas that results from experimentations and concept
✅ Supports the development of products through knowledge of the laboratory and site
performance requirements. This includes all aspects of the product design criteria, product
function and customer needs.
✅ Keeps abreast of latest developments in technology. This includes control automation,
signal processing, sensor technologies and data analytics. Experience in these areas are
✅ Provides technical support to Sales & Business Unit Business.
✅ Identify, select and manage external partners.
✅ Possess proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
✅ Keep to date on trends in ML approaches, tools and platforms.
✅ Develop processes to transform raw data into insightful information using semi automated/
fully automated techniques (e.g machine learning).
✅ Maximize values from datasources and Data visualization tools (e.g PowerBI ,Tableau).
The successful Candidate
We look for:
✅ Degree in Engineering. (Electrical, Electronics, Computer ,Mechatronics) or related
✅ 3-5 years in applied research with interest in data analytics and data science
✅ Good knowledge on Internet of Things (IOT) technologies preferred
✅ Hands on experience in using research analytical and data visualization tools
✅ Experience in data analysis and data modelling would be an advantage
✅ Applies Data Science and Machine Learning techniques in research project
✅ Excellent data analytics and quantitative analysis skillsets
✅ Knowledge in DataWarehouse, Cloud Engineering, Data Automation, Machine learning
✅ Good command and knowledge of programming language skills (SQL,Python , R, Matlab)
✅ Strong communication and presentation skills.
✅ Manage relationship with internal global and other regional partners for all project topics
✅ Good Technical Writing Skills
✅ Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
