We are looking for an organized shipping coordinator to be responsible for contacting couriers to provide them with shipping information. The shipping coordinator is also responsible for negotiating courier fees on behalf of clients and tracking shipments.

To be successful as a shipping coordinator you must have excellent attention to detail. A great shipping coordinator can successfully multitask on a daily basis.

Job Description :

○ Create of job orders and process customers order

○ Coordinate air/sea freight shipment and Transport arrangement

○ Assist our clients and resolve any issues that may occur

○ Handle & prepare Import and Export documentation

○ Process and apply permit declaration

○ Prepare Billing documents for customer

○ General operations duties that may also involve in warehousing

○ Check and negotiate rates with carriers, transporter, etc. and provide quote to customer

○ Undertake any other assignments, which the management may request from time to time

Job requirement :

- Diploma in Business management, Logistics or any other relevant field.

- 2-3 years of experience in Freight Fowarding preferred

- Customer service oriented and able to work independently

- Proven knowledge of import and export procedures and experience in permit application

- Experience in handling Bulk cargo would be of advantage

- Willing to work long hours if needed and able to work under pressure in a fast moving environment

- Good communication and interpersonal skill both written and spoken English

- Proficient in PC applications particularly in Microsoft excel and words

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and liaise with various departments and customers, shipping forwarders to ensure smooth transaction in shipments

- Processing of shipping documents

- Handle logistic duties

- Handle accounts receivables related to Shipping

- Perform data entry

Requirements:

- Minimum GCE ‘O’ level

- Experience in shipping / freight forwarding or relevant environment will be added advantage

- Experience using any accounting system will be added advantage

- Proficiency in MS Office (Words and Excel) will be added advantage

- Possess import/export shipping and freight related knowledge will be added advantage

Class 4 Driver

Responsibilities:

Driving to and fro between the pick-up place and the destination for delivering/ collecting goods/products

Collecting payment from the customers when necessary

To accept add on deliveries.

To work closely with the warehouse team and office staff if they encountered any difficulties to deliver the products to the customers, or not able to reach the customers’ place within the given period of time.

To ensure receiver chop, sign and return of Delivery Orders

To assist loading and unloading of items/ goods

To ensure the cleanliness and the maintenance of the delivery vehicle.

To maintain good relationships with the customers.

Class 4 Driving License (min 2 years)
