Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/ Production
• Position Title: Tailor/ Seamstress
• Working Location: Holland Village
• Working Hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (9 AM - 6 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow design specifications provided by the design team to create garments from start to finish.
• Operate sewing machines, sergers, and other equipment to sew various types of fabric, ensuring consistency and quality in each garment.
• Perform detailed hand-sewing tasks, such as embroidery, beading, and finishing work.
• Measure, cut, and mark fabric according to pattern guidelines, ensuring accuracy and minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with the design team and other seamstresses to ensure that garments meet the highest quality standards and adhere to the established production timeline.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Min 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven hands-on sewing experience, with a strong ability to complete garments from start to finish based on the design provided.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing equipment.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Passion for fashion and a creative eye for design.
