Our bakery assistant is responsible for a wide range of duties daily. In addition to general bakery operations, this position will require someone who is able to work independently and is passionate about the industry.

Full-time (5 days) and Part-time (4 days) positions are available.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the bakery team in the preparation of pastry
  • Execute and maintain consistent recipes and presentation
  • Follow proper handling and right temperature of food products
  • Handle equipments in a safe and proper manner
  • Maintain workstations are clean and tidy with proper hygiene
  • Minimize the wastage and spoilage of ingredients
  • Ensure proper hygiene practices in accordance with food & beverage safety and hygiene standards
  • Any other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • No experience applicants are welcome to apply
  • On-the-job training provided
  • Willing to learn and have a strong passion for baking
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A valid food hygiene certificate will be an advantage

Other Information

  • Working location @ Upper East Coast Road
  • Full Time: 5 days per week; rotating shifts
  • Part Time: 4 days per week; 11.30am to 9.30pm
  • $5 meal allowance per working day
  • Uniform with laundry provided

Our front-of-house crew represents the service and overall hospitality of the café. You should consistently provide excellent customer service and ensure comfort and satisfaction throughout the visit. The position requires someone who is a team player, service-orientated, and passionate about the industry.

Full Time and Part Time positions are available.

Responsibilities

  • Offer friendly and efficient service to customers
  • Provide menu recommendations to customers when asked
  • Process customer orders via Point-of-Sale (POS) system
  • Ensure all items are prepared and served promptly
  • Assist with setting and clearing table for various meal period
  • Assist shift manager in planning and organizing special events
  • Escalate customers' feedback to the shift manager
  • Follow proper hygiene practices in accordance with food & beverage safety and hygiene standards
  • Any other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in the F&B or Retail industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player and friendly individual
  • High initiative and positive attitude
  • Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
  • 5 days work week (for full-time positions) and minimum 2-3 days work week (for part-time positions)
