Job Summary:

Ensure the smooth operations of the dishwashing department and that all kitchen ware and crockery is clean and sanitized for safe use in food service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain food service clearing system so that it works effectively during meal times.

• Ensure that all soiled wares are collected duly, cleaned, washed and sanitized for use in all other department.

• Ensure that all equipment and facility in the dishwashing department is managed effectively by proper usage and maintenance.

• Perform duties to keep all areas of the dishwashing area clean and sanitized including floors, walls, dishwashing machines and equipment, storage equipment/ shelves and other light equipment.

• Remove food wastes from waste receptacles thereafter clean and sanitize bins.

• Ensure that all work is carried out safely according to industrial safety requirement regulated in-house and governmental regulations.

• Responsible for all use and security of cleaning chemicals used in the catering facility and to wear the uniform that is provided and to maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.

• Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment and report to the management of any faulty equipment.

• Attend weekly service meetings to improve and enhance service level.

• Performs any other duties as directed by the Head Chef.

Dishwashers are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods. They perform a range of duties, including dusting or mopping and sweeping floors. They also make sure the dining area and common areas stay fresh by performing routine inspections every day at specified times. Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed.
• Keeps dishwashing area free of clutter and organized.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean/dry floors throughout the shift.
• Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
• Changes water of machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels.
• Assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
• Maintains trash cans throughout the shift and removes full trash cans and boxes at the end of each shift.
• Maintains the dry storage area and the organization of storage shelves.
• Follows the posted daily dish cleaning duties.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef or duty manager as needed.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated with a high energy level
• Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Must be able to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 10kg
• Comfortable bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving quickly
• Working knowledge of sanitation procedures

*** Flexible work shift is available. i.e. 6 hours shift work

JOB DUTIES:

❃ Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and wash kitchen equipment. (Wash and sanitise all pans, utensils, and dishes).

❃ Ensure proper dishwashing process & maintenance of equipment.

❃ Perform cleaning-services & garbage disposal.

❃ Keep consistent standard of tidiness, cleanliness in dishwashing area in accordance to standard operating procedures.

❃ Ensure daily cleaning assignments are completed according to schedule.

SALARY: $1600

TIMING SLOT: 9AM-5PM / 11AM-7PM / 12AM-8AM

BENEFITS: $100 Attendance allowance

Job Duties For Dishwasher :

•keep and wash dishes / plates after customer finishes their meal and wipe the tables

•Perform housekeeping/cleaning duties and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the store, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning and washing of entire outlet , kitchen area, clearing and washing of used dishes and pots and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen/store and clearing trash bins
